I’m an experience designer and an app developer based in Evanston. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in design and a minor in computer programming. My background as a student of both design and technology taught me the importance of empathy and attention to detail, which I’ve put into practice when working at Circle for Roommates and LavaLab. I am currently a Master's student at Northwestern University's Engineering Design Innovation program to further my studies in human-computer interaction.
I believe that the user experience of a technology is just as important as the engineering of it. You can introduce the most advanced technology to your users, but if none of them know how to use it, the technology is as good as a piece of decoration. This highlights the importance of conducting research to understand your users and create a design accordingly, so they can discover the practicality of unrealized technologies.
When I’m not working, I like to go on roadtrips, watch all kinds of shows and daydream about how I can become the real-life Iron Man. 🦾🤖
